Roosevelt Brown has a Masters Degree in Business Administration with Concentration in Project Management. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Business Operations. As Chief Construction Management Officer, Mr. Brown brings his proficient management skills to unify and direct SIBS’ fleet comprised of barges, tugs, ships, tankers and fuel supply vessels.

Previously, Mr. Brown served as Director of Construction and Project Manager over a $180MM demolition and reconstruction project for schools following hurricane Katrina. Prior to that, he served as Executive Director of Facilities Management for Jefferson County Public schools in Golden, CO. There, he was responsible for managing its $100MM operational budget, a staff of over 750 employees and the district’s transportation fleet. Mr. Brown’s experience further includes serving as Chief Operating Officer for Prince George’s County Public Schools, where he was responsible for managing its 4,800 employees and $1B capital improvement budget.
